Air Pollution Research Center
Air pollution Research Center was established in 2016 in order to extend research and introduce solutions regarding medical health issues with the assistance and effort of the faculty members at Iran University of Medical Sciences.
The Center organizes its research activities in the areas of:
1- Monitoring and controlling air pollution in the closed environments (occupational health-environmental health)
2- Monitoring and controlling air pollution in the open environments (environmental health)
3- Administrative and managerial controls (health promotion and health education)
4- Field-regional studies (biostatistics, epidemiology, and toxicology)
5- Biomonitoring studies of air pollution (toxicology, lung, etc.)
This center aims to be the top research center in the field of air pollution control by the next 5 years, prepare a suitable context for conducing specialized projects in this regard and become a reliable center regarding effective consultation and domestic and international regional policy-making.
