Introduction:
Students get familiar with various sampling devices from chemical agents in the workplace like gases, vapors, and dust in the chemical agents' laboratory. The devices in this part include various sampling pumps, calibration devices, and different sampling devices of chemical pollutants from the workplace air. Students will learn how to calibrate air sampling pumps, rotameter to measure flow and volume, and in order to improve their skills in this field, they will practically calibrate various types of primary and secondary standard devices, learn how to sample air pollutants with different types of detector tubes, filters, filter holders and their application in work environments, absorbent tubes, cyclones, and impingers. Moreover, it is possible to carry out biological monitoring of some toxic metals by analyzing biological samples by spectrophotometer.
